Farm Raised Meats
Beef: We raise Shorthorn & Shorthorn cross cattle on our farm. An advantage of this breed is that the steers produced have an excellent rate of gain, good feed conversion and the meat has increased marbling and tenderness. This makes it an ideal breed for the production of a premium high quality beef and its proven marbling and early finishing abilities.
Cuts available: Steaks, Roasts, Short Ribs, Stew Meat, Steakums, Ground Beef and more!
Pork: We like to raise Yorkshire and Hampshire pigs for their temperament, rate of gain, good feed conversion, marbling and flavor. We make whole hog sausage which includes hams, shoulders and end cuts of loins. As a result you have a much leaner sausage than traditional sausage and is what makes ours stand out.
Cuts available: Breakfast, Sweet Italian and Hot Italian Sausage, Bacon, Irish Bacon, Jowl Bacon, Chops, Tenderloin, Ribs, Hocks and more!
Lamb: Our Dorset x Hampshire Cross club lambs are raised for 4-H youth and market. The advantage of raising club lambs, results in a larger loin and heavier build which is more desirable for market vs commercial breeds.
Cuts available: Chops, Tenderloin, Ribs, Ground Lamb and more! Available Seasonally
Chicken and Turkey: Our free range birds are fed a diet of whole grains and allowed to forage in our mobile chicken tractors. We raise several batches of chickens during the summer and turkeys for Thanksgiving. We also have a flock of layers for egg production.
